Trades during the Porfirio Díaz era

Abstract

This project entitled The Trades of the Porfiriato is a work of research, compilation, catalogation and registration of a set of photographs that are part of The Record Books of Trades kept in the Municipal Archive of Guadalajara “Salvador Gómez García”.

These photographs were used to design and create various activities that allowed the rescue, knowledge, dissemination and revaluation of these images that at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, served to identify workers dedicated to exercising some trade acctivity in the city of Guadalajara.
