The relationship between Japan and Guadalajara over the centuries

The phenomenon of the Japanese culture in Guadalajara goes beyond the Japanese pop culture, instead is the product of several interactions with the country and their people through the centuries. This article will do an historical analysis about the bilateral relations between Japan and Guadalajara through the passage of time even though both countries were geographically distant.
There will be an approach in several analysis made by different organizations like Japan’s Embassy as well works about Japanese culture in Guadalajara made by several researchers like Melba
Falck, Takako Nakasone, as well the analysis about the foreign migration phenomenon made by researchers like Thomas Calvo and Ota Mishina. Covering the irst interactions between Japan and México, the irst Japanese people that arrived to Guadalajara and the event of becoming Sister Cities between Guadalajara and Kyoto and their exchanges.
Showing that way the evidence of the long friendship that has been cultivated between both countries. As well a small ethnographic analysis about the Japanese people who decide to live in Guadalajara nowadays.
