Abstract

The streets of the city of Guadalajara had endless stories on its walls where it is only possible to know them by walking and observing. Through the shapes, colors, and symbols that urban art shows it is possible to generate a reading of the place.

In this article, an impact analysis of the cultural tourism routes of ephemeral public urban art in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico is carried out based on the theoretical reference of Boas’s cultural determinism, where urban art is identi ied as a communication tool. and the relevance of this expression of contemporary societies as an invitation to read the city.
